Common questions

Before you install TariffShield.

What are the current billing options?

The Shopify listing offers Free, Standard at $19 per month, and Pro at $190 per year. The annual option is listed as Pro. Review the features and subscription terms on Shopify before approving a plan.

Does TariffShield offer a paid-plan trial?

The current listing offers a free plan for 10 SKUs and does not advertise a paid-plan free trial.

Will my prices change automatically?

TariffShield applies individual or bulk price updates when you approve them. Review your costs and margin targets before applying an update.

Are these final customs charges?

Tariff and margin results support planning. Actual treatment depends on classification, origin, destination, eligibility, and the applicable rules. Verify shipment-specific charges before relying on an estimate.

How does Exact Duty differ from margin analysis?

Exact Duty is a read-only workflow limited to a narrow set of U.S. quartz surface product scenarios. It uses the exact HTSUS number, origin, MFN rate, Chapter 99 facts, customs value, and entry time you supply. As checked September 13, 2026, exact calculations are temporarily unavailable while the tariff rules await review; the service returns no duty number. It does not classify goods or infer program eligibility; unsupported or incomplete cases return no duty number. Multi-market margin analysis is a separate planning feature.

What data does TariffShield use?

The app uses product, variant, inventory, price, available cost, origin, classification, and configuration data, along with saved analysis and price-action records. See the TariffShield section of our privacy policy.
